Do affiliate marketers prefer quality or cost efficiency for their projects?

I've been working with affiliate marketers as a designer for a while, so I understand the concept of split testing. Does that mean you don't care as much about quality markup as much as you do getting the most bang for your buck so you can test multiple pages?

yeah that's kinda what i figured. just trying to get an idea of what people are looking for here and how to offer high quality at the cheapest price. thanks for the input.
