Do Form Submits Tend to Convert Better Than Trial Offers?

I have mostly promoted form submit (Insurance, Zip, etc) that don't require credit cards just from my own experiences feeling uncomfortable giving my credit card to purchase things online (I tend to use paypal)

Just wondering (and maybe the Aff. Managers can provide their thoughts) if there tends to be a higher conversion rate for offers that dont require leads to provide credit card information?

My main concern for not trying out most "trial" offers is that paranoia that I won't be able to cancel and end up the in rebilling nightmare (while profitable on the other side).

I figure since I would be more comfortable filling out some form for a scholarship or "free [insert item] that many others would be too.

Obviously pre-selling and targeted leads all come in to play, but if it came down to having to provide a credit card vs form submit (i.e. credit report / financial niches) which would tend to perform better?

Of course there is a higher conversion rate, which would you rather submit, address or address+cc? Of course CC offers also have much higher payouts. The real question is which has the best EPC.

Ah I see, so instead of focusing on conversion rate I will ask the Aff. Managers about campaigns with the best EPC, makes sense!

The conversion rate will be higher because your getting paid on page 1/2 submissions instead of a sale/trial.

If you took a paid trial and put the conversion pixels on page 1 / 2 of the form, you'll see a higher conversion rate also. People usually bail at steps 2 / 3 depending on the offer.
