I finally seem to have a decent conversion rate, granted its low compared to the superstars here. But, I'm finally in the black. I've read the next step for me now is to create a landing page for better a conversion rate. But, I'm worried that creating a landing page would ruin the cash flow I'm getting now. Is the common belief here that generally speaking a landing page would convert better? What do you guys think? Please let me know.

Thanks in Advance

You can bullshit with people all day, but the only way to truly find out is to test.

Try multiple landing pages.

Landing page = Make them want it.
Sales page = Make them buy it.

At least, that's my impression.

You keep asking if a landing page is better, but better than what?

You will lose NOTHING if you throw up a landing page for a day and see what comes of it. NOTHING. If you don't make any more money, that's not foregone income; it's a learning fee. :)

(I got that line from supernova, by the way. haha)

Is there a difference between these two? I assumed a landing page was essentially a sales page.

I'm by no means an expert, but here's what I've noticed. Here's an example of a sales page. Now, here's an example of a landing page I created for that sales page. On the landing page, I tell them why they need to buy the product while pointing out all of the incredible, fantastic features that the product has (all from a first person perspective). The goal here is to build trust with the customer. The sales page has more information about the product, and big scary dollar signs. The whole point of the landing page is to make it so that the potential customer isn't scared off by the sales pitch.

I hope that made sense, I have a hard time putting things into words sometimes.
