I hired a company to design and program a website for me because their portfolio was awesome. So far the designs coming from them are not good, and they are taking forever. I thought it would be a good idea to get another head on this project.
I have a design in my head, dark, clean uses black, green and white. I'd like someone to design it for me, and if they can move it to Smarty templates. However I understand a good designer is usually not a good programmer so the design part is much more important.
Portfolio's can lie, but seeing some of your work is important.
