Do you keep a database of what offers you have on your sites and when they expire? When they expire, and you leave them up, does it automatically redirect you to a relevant offer or do you just lose commission?

If you have a product review site and archive all your reviews with affiliate links... I imagine this could be a big PITA (with extra hummus)

It depends, but Azoogle, for example, will re-direct expired offers. Not that is always that great. Sometimes offers expire early because the vendor met their numbers and they pull it, so you really need to keep an eye on things to make sure nothing is changed.

Most networks, including us, would redirect the offer to a related offer that would cater to the same user. Eg. One ringtone would expire.... redirect to another ringtone.

Most Affiliate managers do inform our affiliates when an offer has expired and is being redirected. If you are currently not notified of these, perhaps you should make it a point to ask you am that they notify you when this happens.

At times, a redirected offer can be at a different payout, which will affect your ROI.
