I read all the facebook threads/posts, especially the links provided in this post:

http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate...-trove-2008-articles-posts-you-need-read.html

Ive tried a variety of different ads to get my ad approved on facebook. I saw something that was up already, tried to put that up. Disapproved. So I took it step-by-step. First my image was wrong, but I used the same one that is up. So I did some image research and got one that seems to not be against their policy. Yes! Now they are not saying the image is wrong. But I am still having trouble getting the text to get approved. I keep changing things around to make it relevant to the offer.

Anyone have any other suggestions on getting your ad approved? Or just keep trying and try different times of the day?

I know a landing page is better, but im testing right now so im using direct linking. Also using T202. Not sure if that helps, but I doubt it.

Thanks

If you're doing dating (or anything else that might violate their terms), just use your own domain to redirect to an offer that doesn't piss off the testy, unhappy, and generally insecure facebook intern girls (just a personal theory of mine) that review the ad.

Once the ad gets approved, chance the domain forwarding to whatever fetish porn or "no one will ever have sex with you unless you buy this" offer you're trying to pimp.

Let's say im doing dating and my domain is Dating.com. Put that link into the facebook ad, then my domain I would just point/forward to an offer or possibly just a regular website related to dating until its approved?

So when it is approved, I would put my T202/P202 tracking link as the forwarding url then? That should still work for the T202/P202 link right?

Also, any other helpful tips. I got 3 violations, now im down to 1. It's this one:

"This ad does not accurately represent the product or offer being advertised. Make sure your ad text and destination page both include information that clearly and accurately represents the offer. Per section 3, 13, and 14 of Facebook's Advertising Guidelines, no ad may be deceptive about any offer that it makes. All prices and offers mentioned in the ad must accurately represent offers available on the site. All information on the site must be clearly reflected in the ad text. If an ad includes a discount or "free" offer, the ad must clearly state all action(s) required to qualify for the offer. Please make the necessary changes to your ad so that it adheres to all of Facebook's Advertising Guidelines if you choose to resubmit this ad."

When I read that, it seems like the destination url is fine. It's just the ad text, correct? I just need to make the ad text better? I was getting the image wrong, but I corrected that. I wouldn't need to do domain forwarding since the url is fine, right?

Any tips, or just keep trying?
