facebook ads problem targeting iphone 5 users

Hi everyone.
I was wondering if people could help me check something.
FB support is as usual useless or non responsive (at least won't for a couple of days as per experience).

anyway.
So I try to make new ads for my new iphone 5 cases.
per question I know at least 8900 of my fans have an Iphone 5.
and trying to target their friends I should get even more.

But in my facebook ads I always get less than 20 when I click iPhone 5.

141000 (iphone 4 and 4s)

is there any problem facebook has in determining the iPhone 5?

can anyone check if it's just as small for them too?

for all people switzerland germany and austria I even only get 1140.
that's got to be impossible

there isn't mate.. Most has Iphone4s and wouldn't want to change it for now as it's really costly.. + another thing is this

Facebook ads results are the exact figures of how many persons click on the "like" button on facebook about Iphone 5.. It doesn't matter if a person really wants an iphone5, the only thing that matters is that if he/she clicked on the like button on any Iphone 5 stuff.

Go advertising with Iphone 4s. Those are the ones that can afford to get Iphone5 easily and you might never know they already had Iphone5 but never actually clicked the like button in the first place
 
I think you missunderstood me brother.
You can target mobile users and the phones they use.

ah yes My apologies.. thought that you were targeting users that wants Iphone5.. but it's the other way around..

what your trying to do is advertise ONLY on users that uses Iphone5.. is that right?
 
yeah i sell iphone cases just got shit loads of iphone 5's shipped that should arrive shortly now duplicate all the ads
and make campaigns just for 5s.
3 weeks ago the number was higher in the thousands for my targeting of iphone 5 users.
but somethings up.
tried first time two days ago.
thought it was a glitch but today it's still the same.

Less than 20? yeah bet there's something wrong.. Wait a couple of days more..

For the meantime just target anyone using their PC that liked Iphone5 by using the categories. limit the budget to $10 a day just to see if this will convert or not while waiting for the shit to be fixed... other than that I think you can't do nothing at this time.

or message FB team.. though they reply so fucking slow and shit on their users as they suck the hell out of every penny they can see, they're the best persons to message at this point
 
haha you're right, slow is even good.
I never get replies on 8 out of 10 messages.

it's definitely a glitch.
I just did something, i added in friends of connections my fb page and got 242000 iphone 5 users in switzerland alone.
then add interests and get fewer than 20 again. it's so messed up.
maybe has something to do with their mobile app for i5.
I could go this way but I think will waste a lot of add dollars since the cases are ethnicity targeted

let's hope this pans out, got to hit the ground running with them since I have shipped 60k cases and bunch of other shit now,
plus i pay my rent yearly, due jan 1st hahaha, that's for another thread though.
