Facebook turns its first profit

About 70 percent of Facebook's users are outside the U.S. Thats a huge number stop wasting your time promoting products in US hit international hard.

  • The fastest growing demographic is those 35 years old and older
  • About 70% of Facebook users are outside the United States
Question: "Excuse me CPA network do you have offers that target 35 and older that accepts international traffic?"
Answer: "FUCK YA!!!"

Damn thats an E-book right there Sell that shit to Warrioz Forumz and Digi Point

I still believe the biggest, active group of FB users is in the US. You can't slang UK berries to an Aussie...etc.

And I have heard other data as far as their growth verticals go.

QFT - You've got to know the markets.
You can try to sling Acai here, but outside of marketers and hippies, no one knows what the fuck it is.

Most health products that are anti-oxidant fruits here are still pomegranate or blueberry, and res-v isn't going to sell either as we consume more red wine than any other country on the planet (we make REALLY good wine here, and we do it cheap. We're like the China of wine.)
We also have a thing about cramming things up our arses (unless we're drunk and in Kings Cross). There are very few suppository medications on the market.
You want to sell something to fat aussies, they don't give a shit about Rhiannon... They want to know how Magda Szubanski dropped 40kg in 6 months.

I'm not saying that stuff doesn't sell, or won't using regular tactics. Just not as well it does in the US, per capita.

Dude, everyone knows that Magda started using a combination of res-v, acai, and colon cleanse to lose the weight. Then for added pop she used the kardashian's new teeth whitener and 2 different cellulite and stretchmark creams to put the final polish on the new her.
At least that's what I saw on her blog........

Even if the international demographic is big, the offer would have to target multiple countries for it to even reach the us population on facebook.

I would be interested in a breakdown of FBs revenues.
They are seeing a ad potential bigger than google. Maybe in a few years from now...

Man. They grew fast as fuck. I remember when they were just for colleges.

That was just a little over a year ago.

We'll see where it goes, Myspace was looking good for a little while too, now buying ads on myspace is like buying a pixel on the "million dollar homepage"

If those numbers are pretty consistent throughout their entire revenue base, you really gotta worry about Facebook -- they seem to be really dependent on a lot of names nobody-has-ever-heard-of (unless they're really capitalizing on the whole "local" and "hyperlocal" thing)? Everyone else there seems to have entirely pretty predictable, mainstream, and I assume somewhat stable advertisers.

Well, I knew it was just a matter of time since they created their advertising platform that they would begin profiting. They have been marketing their advertising platform to internet marketers hard for a while now.

Is it stupid to advertsie in Face book ??
