Fastest Way to Register CNOBI Domains

Hi folks,

Currently I'm using a RSI-Gateway for real-time registration of domains with a mail-bridge to automate registration.


I takes arround 90seconds to snap a domain with that (time between sending the REG and getting REG OK returned).

That's too long - I'm loosing business to those guys from pool.com, SnapNames Inc etc - they register expired domains in under one second.

I need something faster, even if it costs a fortune.
Any suggestions to speed up the registration process?

You ever think maybe you could just make it start registering 89 seconds before the "avail" time?

Yeah sure - I also tried sending loads of requests at once to increase chances. But no matter what I do, the big boys seem to be not only bigger, but also faster.

Well duh, they're the ones running the entire API for the ordering system - they're going to beat you.

If I were you I'd ask them about doing revshare for piggybacking on their system.

I know the risk & the effort and would still prefer an independend system for snapping. I changed to a XML-RSI Gateway which gets me the domain in ~5s. Any ways to speed it further up?
