im new to affiliate marketing / e-commerce and i want to get rich?

i'm wondering if signing up for programs under large retailers like amazon.com and best buy are worthwhile "endeavors"? It seems like the market for many of their prooducts are saturated...so are there any specific characteristics i should look for in a product which would sell well?

i'd appreciate any help....im drowning...

I hate it when people end every sentence as a question? It's kind of gay?

If the problem is that everything you try is saturated, shouldn't you find a niche that isn't saturated? Wouldn't it be as simple as that? Am I right? Does this answer your questions?

Stewie: Alright Brian, you can do this. You can dump her, because once it's done, never again will you have to listen to her talk like this? You know, where everything has a question mark at the end of it? With an upward inflection? At the end of every sentence?
Brian: Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking? Oh dammit, now I'm doing it too!

LOL that is what I was trying to get at when I made my first reply above. I wanted to link to that episode, but at the time all of the Family Guy sites I know of were down or taking too long to open up.
