First conversion

Finally after about 8 or 9 hours of work and about a hundred dollars, I got my first ppc conversion as a lead for 1.75! I usually make money on Ebay so I'm confused why I am excited about making 1.75 ( actually losing 98.25). I wouldn't be a noob if I didn't ask a question so..

I'm using google adwords and I keep getting hits of "no keyword". Where does that traffic usually come from? Also, my t202 didnt track the conversion. I put the unsecured postback url in the pixel section on a4d. Anything else I need to do to track conversions?
 


I don't use a4d, but I know one of my networks' pixels fire every 15 minutes, so there is a slight lag between when it shows up on their web console and when prosper shows it. Did you use the correct wildcards for the pixel URL ({subid}, #subid#, #s1#, etc) ?

I don't have a ton of experience with adwords, but it may be the case that hits you're getting from the content network (do you have content network enabled?) are coming back with no query terms. Don't take my word for it...

Good job, keep going! I remember getting my first conversion too, was so excited for like 2$ haha

The url that I posted in the A4d section was the url that tracking gave me for post back. I still haven't seen the conversion on t202
 
No, But I talked to my am and he told me to use the img pixes and not post backs. Maybe it will work this time
 
Does anyone else have problems with t202 not picking up campaigns on the text ad screen. It seems to take forever for the pull up to pick up new campaigns or even new text ads for that matter.
 
I was having some issues with t202, I just saw your message about the image i forgot about that. Sometimes you have to refresh the page in order to get all the drop downs to appear, ive noticed that quite often.

Do you feel you learnt enough to warrant the 100$ loss?
Or if you were to do it again, would you go the longer, free, SEO route instead?
 
Last time I tried, a4d didn't accept my non-secured tracking pixel. This was like 2months ago tho.

Anyways congrats! I remember that first conversion. Now go get 100 more of those.
 
Ive actually created a positive ROI on Microsoft ad center. Got a balance of 40 dollars on A4d and invested over 200. I fucked up with Microsoft, the t202 wasn't working fast enough, so i didn't track the fucker. FUCK Oh well I'm learning how to lose money fast. I'm using Gay ass ebay info products to fuel the fire. Easy money = investment opportunity.

Not worried about the 100 dollars. If anyone is scared of losing 1,000 dollars over a month or so.. PPC isn't for you. I could just be a retard, but unless you catch a break it will take some cash to get a good feel. I'm using high cpc prices on competitive keywords. Go big or go home i guess. The best way to keep it going is to make some side cash doing anything and invest that. There are countless ways to make cash on the net. AM is just one. Go mow some yards make a couple hundred just to play with. 100 dollars is chump change anyways.
