I'm selling an arcade scraping script I wrote a while back. I have been working on other things and don't have time to work on this project anymore. It is 100% working and I'll help you get going and answer any questions. I wrote this so no one else has it and if I sell it I won't try and sell it to anyone else.
On the admin side you can specify a site to scrape and how many layers deep to search and the script will spider the site looking for any embedded flash or java games. After it finds them it downloads them locally and stores them in a database for the admin to go through later and categorize. It allows you to pick which categories, write some info and take a screenshot. Once I got into a rhythm I could add a game every 30 seconds or less. Automatically omits duplicates based on file hash, even if it has already been disapproved.
Once you have the games approved, the script lets you customize some HTML templates with the variables and then generates static, SEO friendly html pages.
Uses PHP/Javascript/AJAX for the admin section and static html for the generated pages. Includes the .com domain (PM me for info) which has been registered since 2006. The only promoting I have done is submitting o a few arcade directories so traffic is low, but with some time and more games I think it can be successful.
