Facebook Unleashes Three More Costly Anti-Spam Lawsuits This week
Yet Still Claims They Do Not Have The Resourses To "Police" Their Site From Malitious Applications That Reportedly Damage Their Members Computers And Gather Users Private Information To Sell It For Huge Profit!
Facebook has launched Three More Anti-Spam Lawsuits this week. Steven Richter (kid from Long Island, not to be confused with the lawyer), Jason Swan (From CPALEAD) and Max Bounty, Inc. They boast about these lawsuits on their website according to a news report published today by Vator News .
Just a few days ago, Facebook had said it does not have the resources to police all of its applications, totaling about 500,000, yet it is clearly public knowledge that the Apple apps store carrying over 350,000 apps has done an excellent job of keeping their apps safe by filtering out any possible malicious apps that may cause harm to their customers in any way, including data-mining activities. as reported by the Montreal Gazette here. It was reported many times in other news that Zynga, the developer of many of the top applications like Farmville implicated in the latest privacy scandal pays Facebook between six million dollars ($6,000,000) to eight million dollars ($8,000,000) per MONTH to advertise their apps on Facebook's website.
But the resourses needed such as huge sums of money to pay for their high ticket lawyers bills and court fees, private investigators, balifs and the list goes on, in their persuit to go after people that they aledge are spamming their site with messages to buy products or services ( yes like pesky salesman when you walk in a store, you either buy what they push onto you or you walk away with no harm) In this case you delete the messages that are promoting the products if you are not interested. Oh the EVIL! GO get them, go go go , sue spend hundreds of millions of dollars if you must and get those "spammers" who are selling stuff to your members of your site, not because your members are getting hurt or their computers getting damaged or even their PERSONAL DETAILS BEING GATHERED and then SOLD to companies for EXTREME PROFIT. Just let many of the Facebook Apps handle that until they get exposed by the wall street journal or someone else who cares, then take the steps to remove them at that point to avoid any sort of negative public backlash and legal hot water.
Interesting? What is next?
