Is it possible to generate a large keyword list using only free tools?

If not then what's a good paid service? I'm debating whether to go Wordtacker or Wordze.

Yeah sure,
I use only Google keywords tool and Adcenters Ad Intelligence.

And after I review all the keywords, I use the most powerful tool that you have, and thats your brain!!!

Anyway, I'm generating several thousands of keywords this way for each campaign.

Good Luck.

Absolutely - add Keyword Discovery and Wordtracker's free tools to the list, too:
Free Search Term Suggestion Tool by KeywordDiscovery.com
Free Keyword Suggestion Tool from Wordtracker

If you can't come up with a good list of keyword ideas from all of those, you're in the wrong business. Once you have a nice long list of keywords, you can work on generating an even longer list by creating a separate keyword for pretty much every permutation of the keywords that you can think of. You can do that fairly easily in Excel (or OpenOffice Calc), but you can also use this free tool to make it a little faster:
SplutWeb: Keyword Permutation Tool

Yes it's very possible, although I suppose it depends on how large we're talking here. I've produced ~2000 keywords using free tools like the Google Keyword Tool, but as was mentioned already, also with my own brainstorming and keyword combinations.

Use google like was said, and/ or wordtracker free to expand out. Paste into notepad to erase html. Then post into OpenOffice or Excel to organize the lists.

its all well and good doing the trillion kw lists but if your not grouping and targeting those bad boys to your niche the big G is going to bend you over :)

You don't have to use notepad in order to remove HTML, you can just right click in excel and select "Paste Special", then use "Values" option.

Good luck

SEO Beginner Tools - Keyword Combination Generator does the same thing but lets you mark different columns as "required" or not.

Good to know. You learn something new everyday.

There's a pretty cool Excel (2007 only) plugin than can help with keyword discovery too. You need an adCenter account.

I got the idea about using these tools but what if i have to go the other way? I mean, is there any way to know that which are the keywords which I should consider for making blogs or websites or articles which pay good in adsense and is a good and well searched niche? Is there any way to find this sort of list or something?? thanx for help
