Giving Out Your Client List To Prospective Clients

For those that do lead gen in here for companies, do you disclose your client list to others if they want a recommendation from another company before purchasing leads from you?

I'm hesitant to do so because it seems if you're trying to land a client and they want to talk to someone you've provided leads to in the same niche, this might cause a problem with the other party and the deal you currently have with them.

What do others do?

Definitely not your entire list - generally you should have a list of about 5 different companies/people that can vouch for you on an ongoing basis...basically the people that are so happy with your service they ask "how can I repay you..." tell them they will be getting phone calls and tell them what to say.
