Hi,

I am try adding few keywords in to my ad campaign I have a few questions

#1 The estimate clicks is it totally true? like in their prediction?
#2 I don't get estimate clicks for certain keywords but they have like 12k on local search volume.

Any idea on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

1- no its totally an estimate and not very accurate
2- again, not very accurate

I have found that the keyword estimators are a total load of bunk. The way to figure it out is to put some money down on it. $50 will do- you just gotta run it and see what happens to get an accurate gauge.

Take adwords public statistic tools with a grain of salt. Their "Average CPC" for a keyword on the KW Tool is grossly over estimated. I often take the average bid price and bid 1/3rd of the listed click cost. The volume meter is often an extremely vague estimation as well. Volume is highly dependent on timing of your campaign niche. Only way to know for sure is to try yourself. Being said, if something says 100 searches per month - it most likely wont yield 100k clicks for you :)
