i spent the last ~week building a very high quality site (lots of pages, SEO'd, keyword density, solid navigation, etc) of original highly targeted content with the intent of promoting it on adwords. i even created a new adwords account to try to insulate myself from any negative points i may have with google from past campaigns.

i started promoting it on adwords today and immediately received a QS of 1. it's entirely possible they're associating my account with past adwords accounts i've used that haven't promoted the most "googley" sites (though i've never been banned). it's also very possible their algorithms can just tell i'm an affiliate. either way, this site follows every single piece of guidance they provide on how to build a high quality landing page, and yet i'm getting a QS of 1 with the only explanation being "Landing page quality: poor."

they provide absolutely no way of finding out WHY my LPQ is 1. so... i guess the message is "fuck off" which i don't want to do but suppose i will.

the retarded thing is: this site ACTUALLY provides useful content for people, and ACTUALLY could drive sales for Fortune 500 advertisers (i.e. legit companies, not rebills) while providing a service google users want. why are these fuckers essentially banning me outright?

yeah, sadly they dont care about your legitimacy in the present. The same happened with me months ago. They will give all of your campaigns global QS's of 1 once they have deemed you as insufficient for previous campaigns. Also, it is a VERY bad idea to sign up with multiple accounts on the same computer if one of the accounts was used for affiliate offers. If you want to go forward with this, the best advice is to get new IP, credit card (bank too?), etc. I'm not really sure on the specifics but there are some ways to create a new adwords accounts somewhere on WF.
 
I just think that Google wants the big players that aren't worried about paying a shitload of money for advertising space. Try 7 search lol.

That's sounds like a "tainted domain". Has it been registered before?
Delete your ads and point them to another similar site (even if you don't own it). If the quality score goes up then it's the domain's fault. Get a new one, stick your content on it and start driving traffic.

If your keyword received a QS before you "even uploaded a domain" this can only mean you created ads with invalid URLs. They would get the lowest QS by definition. Do not submit your ads until the LP is final, whatever crap is linked on submission, it will get spidered and evaluated right away with no second chance.

koschei, i didn't start my campaign until the page was done and the link is value. that's not the issue.

my guess on all this though: tainted account!
