Got an affiliate site? Heres a couple cheap ways to promote offline

I had an affiliate site for ringtones a while back, and while I got some good signups through the site doing PPC, I also did a seperate site and did some offline promotion as well. Did very well with conversions, as people who remember a domain they see offline, or write it down generally WANT what you are offering.

Heres a couple cheap ways to promote offline that I used. I'm posting this since offline promo isnt discussed much, but can be big for you if you have the right type of sites.

Business Cards

Everyone looks at business cards when you see them on a counter top, and normally, if interested, pick one up. They are easy to put in your pocket, so people will pick these up over flyers normally. 1,000 of them cost 69.00 from this place, but if you are pushing affiliate promotions, 10% conversion on those 1,000 flyers and you got yourself a couple grand.

Stickers

Stickers are easy to put up, and also can be put in places a lot of people will see them. I put a sticker on a sign in the drivethru (not the drivethru sign itself, but a street sign they had up talking about excessive noise is a fine, because houses are right there) for a herbal shop site a couple years back, and did fairly well with it. Most stoners go to drive thrus late at night anyways, so it worked out. (there are other ways to use stickers though. lol)

I'm not saying to get these things from the sites mentioned either, theres other places probably cheaper as well, but those were the ones I had bookmarked.

Think outside the box a little, and you might like the results ;)
 


I had some LED signs that I had two guys put up all over Boston. I never really followed up with what happened to that. A friend of mine gave me the idea, but I doubt anything will ever come of it.

You fuckers should have stocked up on business cards when I posted about that Office Depot deal. I got basically 250 cards for every niche site that I have. I got boxes of business cards coming out of my ass.

If you want a cheap place to get stickers done. Then check out a company called Label Art. Back in the day, I use to do business with them and they are very cheap when it comes to volume. And they can do basically anything you could think of.

Those are pretty bad suggestions and once again your prove you have no idea what your talking about.

Business cards don't convert sales at 10%. Once again talking out of your ass.

Your second idea regarding stickers is also bad. Where do you intend to place them? All someone has to do is copy your website URL into whois.net and report you for vandalism..not so smart huh?

I know I have said this before you have a PPC arbitrage tag so why not write a guide about that? Whats the point of even having the tag if you aren't going to wrtie about it?

I love your replies. makes my day better. but, your retarded replies are starting to make you look really dumb. Business cards dont convert at 10%? Doesn't every person who picks up a business card have SOME sort of interest in what the card is about? I know I wouldnt pick a card up and keep it unless I wanted to check out the site.

As far as stickers - are you serious? you dont know where to put them? thats dumb. you are dumb. theres a million places you can put them, and guess what, with a whois guard that comes with any domain you buy at namecheap for FREE, theres no way they can do that. Shows how intelligent you are though.

It's a shame all you do is make halfass replies though instead of doing something productive.

PPC ARBITRAGE GUIDE doesn't mean I only have to make posts about PPC ARBITRAGE, and besides, I'm replying to everything PPC ARBITRAGE related, as well as answering countless PM's about it, so Shut the fuck up and move on.

Robb...nice post, personally I have never tried anything offline but it could work with countess offers. Food for thought...

Um...by conversion I meant an actual sale. If simply viewing the website counts as a conversion then 10% would still seem too high since most business cards will be thrown away/ignored anyway. Where would you intend to put 1000 business cards? It is more work than its worth for maybe one sale. Why not think this through BEFORE you post instead of just making noobish assumptions which you seem to have a bad habit of doing.

Um..hum you still didn't answer my question as to where you put them. Don't ask me; its your guide. As far as I know sticking stickers on someone else's property is vandalism.

That is subject to interpretation. If by 'productive' you mean making noobish posts and assuptions then yes I'm not productive.
 
When I went to the ATM yesterday there was a business card to a work from home affiliate offer site stuck next to the keypad. Wonder if it works.. I'm willing to give it a try.
 
Stickers work very well..

I manage a car club and all we use is sticker promotion, we doing over 1000 uniques a day

Stickers are on windscreens.. and small window sized ones

SO TRUE lol. I actually did the weed site stuff in stalls too. ill have to try the adult thing out doing a seperate site for it just to see what kind of traffic/conversion it gives. if its 1:10, i will drive across country and hit every gas station, party store, meijer, kmart, walmart, ect. lol
 
That is just fucken stupid i think... Becuase i think you should promote websites on the web .. without business cards and all that shit. how you gonna distribute them..
