Hi guys,

I'm pretty new to WickedFire, I come from Blackhatworld though.

I have an opportunity to make money. It's a new online community, and the owner would pay me $0.5 per new user that will sign-up.

Does anyone have experience on such a project? How have you driven subscriptions? What the source: Twitter, email blasting, buying traffic?

Every help is very appreciated, thanks guys.

James

Depends on what "sign up" entails, like is it just email, email + confirmation, additional demographic info, FB ok, etc. Those factors help determine if it's a shitty deal or an incredibly shitty deal. Confirmed US forum signups should pay $1-2.

For a rate like that, it should be co-reg or email/zip submit only. If its anything other than that, prob not worth it unless they dont care about quality.

Thanks guys, the sign-up process would require a bit of info to be filled in (company you work for, etc).

It sounds a shitty deal, but on the other side there would be some products sold into the community and the owner would recognize me high commissions for each product sold (affiliate sales).

So the real earning wouldn't come from the sign-ups but from the product sales. Do you think putting up a sub-affiliate sales scheme might be the key for both driving sign-ups and selling products?
