lol...its the AM helping you (and himself) screw the advertiser.
if it was service leads or any submits, the advertisers would find out these leads are worthless.
they let you promote downloads, because advertisers cant confirm if the downloader
is a real user or not.
(or they can - if they see none of them ever upgraded to full version)
but thats not somthing they can prove, but they can prove submits are fake.
easy money for everyone (you,your AM,and the network) fucking over the advertiser.

This is my last post in this thread... I understand that what I did was wrong and I immediately am quitting this method and further exploring/learning ppc..

wait a minute. if this is downloads then he is screwing over the mturk guy more than the advertiser. the advertiser still gets to show ads. we arent even talking about fucking submits.
Yep, I was going to post the same exact thing in a reply to Steve @ MaxBounty.
I've pushed a lot of downloads in my time, and I can say that download advertisers are pretty lenient with traffic quality. If the mturk worker downloads whatever they are asked for, and doesn't uninstall it, then there is value to the advertiser. Popups and shit will be displayed to this person whenever they do their normal browsing. Usually several people in the household share the same computer, so other people are also exposed to these ads as they typically would be, even if the download was incented.
As long as the OP was not telling the mturk's to uninstall the download right after downloading it, the drop in quality isn't significant to say that the OP is screwing the advertiser out of their money.
Now, if this was for any other types of offers, then I perfectly agree, the quality would be trash and useless.
dude, why is your main focus on one outlet? that's dumb. don't put all your eggs in one basket...ever heard of that?
