Has anyone tried getting conversions with Twitter?

Hey guys. Currently I use twitter right now to promote the review site and let the clicks on my affiliate links come through the site itself. My question though is has anyone just put the affiliate links directly into Twitter and have a good conversion rate with it?

I don't think anyone has ever tried getting conversions with Twitter. You might be on to something big, bud.

I've found that if you put something like "Free hamburgerz" and then your link your CTR will go through the roof.
