I started ppc about a week ago. I am able to track campaign ads but haven't been able to figure out how to track the keywords on tracking 202. For example purposes lets say I'm selling ;

Acai Berry

Keywords are : weight loss, diet, how to lose weight, and supplements

i get the tracking url: and its http://tracking.url.2323kw=

Do i add all keywords here?
If so is it http:// tracking.url.2323kw=(weight loss, diet, how to lose weight, supplements)?

Do i need to make a new link for each keyword?

Please help this newb with some traking advice. Thanks

I think you have to add the code {keyword} at
the end of this URL that you have but not totally
sure.

I think every time people in this forum see the
"newbies alert" they just don't want to click on
it.

So good luck finding answers my friend.

Couldn't disagree more.

We've got a noob moderator (PapaJohn) and many of us show up around here to help out as long as the questions aren't DP worthy. In fact, I'd go as far as saying that WF has the most helpful noob forums (that's /newbie-questions/, not the entire forum) that you'll find on the net. Add to that that we strictly enforce the no-dickroll policy in this section & you've got yourself a pretty safe place to ask intelligent questions.

To the OP ... as long as you've got the javascript included on your lander you're good to go and the keyword /should/ get imported to 202 correctly. To test it out, go to your lander and append the url with ?t202kw=test and then go check spy view (show all clicks as your IP will frequently get filtered as a non-real click) and make sure that test shows up as your keyword.

If this is direct linking your url should look like this ...

hxxp://www.trackingdomain.com/tracking202/redirect/dl.php?t202id=####&t202kw=

... from there your keyword should be auto-appended. No need to create different destination urls for each keyword.

{KEYWORD:default keyword} will dump searched keywords into title or description in yahoo, google is something like {KeyWords:default keyword} ... That's off the top of my head though. The "create new ad" page for each of the major engines do a good job of explaining how to work keywords into your stuff.
