I've read Eli's bluehat SEO,he said article distribution is not a good linking strategy because you will compete against yourself??

So anyone know how Eli build links to his Autoblogs(basement)??

Post a comment asking the question on his blog?

Theres ton's of other posts on his blog about building links, read through some more of them.

Eli hasn't made a post in almost a year.

I would probably be confused reading outdated content as well. Try reading this board a little more maybe.

Ya,some of his techniques is really revoluntionary at that time but soon get spread like viral.Like he mentioned using promosoft and robosoft to build links using software directories in 2006.People only started mentioned this as "new" techniques in 2008.

I'm still not sure how relevant his posts is if I start build the SEO Empire like he said?

Out-dated content. Some generic content can be useful. The rest of it is not relevent anymore. Read the shit on this forum. You'll start asking better questions.

Go back and re-read SEO Empire. He explicitly talks about links to the basement.

I'm not going to do it for you, but start at "Upward Linking" and read very carefully.

Good luck!

Thanks for the compliment guys. :)

^exactly what skippy said.

Focus on upward linking. No need to build links to your basement sites, as they are positioned at the bottom they ARE your links. It's best on the lower basement sites to put your efforts into indexing. Any efforts you have on gathering links should be going to your foundation and money sites.

As far as me saying article submissions are bad. You misunderstood. When you're dealing with an untapped niche, small or even medium level competition niches they are bad as they create more competition. I specifically mention the golden rule of ranking, "match and exceed". If your competition is using article submissions against you, then you should use them to. If they're not using them then you shouldn't either.

If you're wondering what posts are relevant and what ones aren't assume all are relevant as they teach you an idea not a specific that can get burned up. Everytime I write a post people complain that i don't give out a very specific way to use it. Then when they see everyone using the technique they wonder how it hasn't died yet. That's pretty one dimensional thinking IMO.

For that reason these 21 posts will never be outdated:

Thanks Eli for clarifying.I really need to re-read your blog at least 100 times and start reading all the forum posts in order to digest all the concepst.

But I've have to said I'm really fascinating about the concept of building an SEO Empire.
It just sounds really POWERFULLL and ambitious.
Maybe I'll just start with building some crappy little sites first.

Cheers

Just thought I'd butt in here.. Consider hiring help right off the bat. There's a TON of cheap help here online, and having someone relying on you for orders can do wonders in keeping yourself motivated and moving forward. Plus, it will be easier and faster with someone doing your grunt work!

I say "yourself" here, but I'm talking about me I guess, since this is what's worked for me... Just thought I'd mention it!
