Hi

I built a website that manages domains and backlinking. You add your websites and keywords and it automatically posts content linking to it. It doesn't register accounts, but it can publish content to different free blogging sites (Wordpress, Blogger, TypePad, Livejournal, etc.) as well as to a few social bookmarking sites. I've been using it for some of my own sites and its been working reasonably well.

Sites can be structured in levels so that links are created to sites higher up the chain, i.e. a link pyramid.

I am thinking of opening this up to others and eventually monetizing it, if it is valuable to people. I haven't done anything like this before so advice from anyone who has experience in this will be awesome. Or comments on whether it would be good or if it would suck.

What are features that are essential to a service like this?
What things do people NOT want or are unimportant that I shouldn't bother with now?

Thanks

I've been looking for something like this since LFE sorta went.... meh.

Let me know if you'd like for me to try it out or beta test it for you.

Ability to post articles in spintax is a must btw.

good luck

Thanks Hav3n

U say LFE as in Link Farm Evolution ryt? What features are you looking for specifically.

Spintax posting...noted (I have coded this, just need to enable it).

so what it is is basically a bring-your-own-2.0-accounts-then-we-post-to-them-for-ya? seems like a nice idea. Do you have lots and lots of proxies? Because you'll need lots and lots of proxies for this to survive

You add your websites and keywords

Yea dchuk that's the basic idea but there's a alot more to it. I have some basic proxy implementation on the web-side, but proxies fail a lot so Im not using them with my test sites.

Besides the web-based part, I also made a windows based app for posting of some of the social bookmarks, so that will run off a windows system or VPS. So I was thinking about running this app on multple PCs or VPSs with something like HideMyAss.

Do you think I should use normal proxy servers and randomize them with the postings? What do reliable proxies like these cost?

Hmmmm....
Ok I see what you're implying.
Although all backlink or rank tracking services require you to give links and keywords.
So it is a risk, but how do you suggest getting around this?

In the Brick & Mortar world you would have to implement a Nondisclosure & Non compete Agreement with your clients.

Talk with a Business Law Litigation attorney or an Intellectual Property Rights Attorney.

I too think you have a pretty good idea, provided you can overcome the Proxy and Paranoia situations.

Thanks for that Midas Touch, ill keep it in mind. For now I wanna focus on the functionality. Ill just put something in the terms and conditions about NDA and NCA. What are key features that would make this a different and valuable backlinking/auto website building service? What does it absolutely have to have to make it work?
