I will make this plain and simple. I want to start doing what you guys are doing. i know im not gonna start out making shit. i know alot of you have been hard at this for years? you guys started somewhere to.. can i get a few tips please?

Read as much as you can here. Look at the newbie guides. Do be afraid to ask questions, even if you get flamed.

you dont need to be at it for years in order to make money
just read as much as you can and the pieces will fall in place

If you're talking about affiliate marketing or arbritage make sure to use coupons for adcenter, adwords, etc.. That way it will cost you less to learn.

Don't jump in spending thousands of dollars, don't even begin to spend any money on advertising until you take the advice of reading, read everything even if you don't understand it, shit I didn't know half the stuff I was reading at first but later on the pieces fell together and I'm glad I read the shit that didn't make any sense to me at first because it helped me out a lot in the long run.

Here is a tip don't ever sign up for a get rich quick scheme, there are clever ones which say sign up here and you'll make 3K a month, thats a waste of fucking time, second tip is don't waste your time on useless traffic exchanges, I'm talking about the ones where you surf so many sites to get your site seen by others, its based on a fantasy credit system, the only thing you'll get out of those is pretty looks on your stats but zero income from countless wasted hours.

Here is something else you should know its a quote from Albert Einstien "It's as simple as possible but no simplier" think about that for awhile because making money on the internet is simple, but thousands and thousands of people fail at it every single day.

Ok fuck it I'm in the mood to write now, get your pen and paper out, another tip about the above paragraph is that it takes hard work to succeed, this shit is not going to be easy, don't quit your job, stay in school, use your brain, yes it is easy but thats only when you've figured out how to make money, its gonna take ton's of hard work, more then you can imagine.

Everyone thinks that you can just come online and make money in no time at all and in 3 month's they give up and say everything is a scam and its stupid to even try, if you think like this give up now cause your fucked.

This bring's me to my next point don't ever give up, never ever ever ever ever give up, I cannot stress this enough, find something to motivate you, find something personal to keep you going, find something inside of you that no one else has, this is something that only you can know.

You wanna know what's kept me going for so long, its the fact that no one believes in me, everyone I know think's I'll never be able to make enough money sitting on my computer, I look around at the community I live in and I see high school graduates making $8 bucks per hour (minimum wage), you wanna know what else I see, I see 40 year old people like my mom who has worked for a company over the past 6 years and is maxed out at $14 bucks per hour, I look at my dad and he busts his ass off working outside in -40 sometimes to pay the bills, yeah he makes good money but it costs him his health.

I look around and I see these things everyday and I say to myself I will make it I don't give a fuck if it kill's me I'll do it, fuck them, fuck everyone who doesn't believe I can do it, when the day comes I'll be the mother fucker making $10K a month sitting on my ass in my warm fucking house, while everyone else is barley scraping by, waking up day in day out at 7am, some work for a company for 40 years and then get laid off, I say fuck it, if I don't succeed then thats going to be on my own terms no one elses.

But this is just what keeps me going, you'll need to find something inside of you that gives you strength to move on. Ok back on topic, here are a few things you should read up to get started.

1) SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
2) Affiliate Marketing
3) Arbitridge
4) Pay-Per-Click Advertising (Again don't spend right off the bat, learn a bit first)
5) Learn from this community, don't fuck around here, people here have amazing amounts of knowledge, and there fucking smart, don't ask questions every single day, when you learn something even if it is new, let the newbies of this forum know, stay a member and you'll learn tons but try to bring something to the table every once and awhile.

Ok those are just a few and the internet is filled with valuable information, so much good information that you could make millions of dollars, the only downside to this is that the internet is filled with more junk information then quality information and your going to need time and patience to weed through the shit information, but by doing so you'll learn what doesn't work and you'll be one step closer to knowing what does work.

Here is a design tip, look at Google yeah thats right GOOGLE look at their home page and ask yourself what you see. I see barely anything, I see an extremely clean layout, which is very easy to understand but it looks elegant and professional, some will not agree with me on this but keep your sites organized, clean, elegant, proffessional, test out different ways to place your adsence into your sites, some areas will pay better then others, and last make your readers think your giving them valuable information, actually no fuck that you should give them valuable information so they will trust you, then you'll start making easier sales with your affiliate programs.

Be dynamic and try something new, if you've got an idea which you might think will work and you don't see it around, give it a fucking shot, sit down and just do it, if it doesn't work fine you've learned something else that didn't work, when you find something that does work great, make some good money with that shit.

Ok I'll stop now I don't know where the fuck all that came from I usually just type one or two lines, but at least you've got some information to work with now, so go out and read and learn and motivate yourself and then sit down make a plan and follow it through.

I agree with pretty much everything Aequitas already said. But I could also add:

When you feel like you have read enough to get started on something - pick ONE thing and focus on that first. As a complete n00b, it's tempting to want to try everything at once. Affiliate, SEO, ppc arbitrage, domaining, blogging, blackhat, e-commerce, site reselling, content sites, etc. etc. etc.

Eventually, down the road when you're starting to really get a grip on things - you should try to diversify and try many different things to generate several income streams.

But for now, stick to one of the above and learn to master it. As for me, I chose to start off with ppc arbitrage because it is easy to learn and get into. I am now shifting my focus over to ppc affiliate marketing. I am holding off a little when it comes to SEO'd blogs etc. for now. One thing at a time... :)

Trying to succeed in many areas simultaneously more often than not will just lead to mediocre results in each field.

Read/learn. Work hard. Never give up.
This WILL lead you to success.

Very true, staying focused on one thing is key I think. When all the stuff you learn starts falling into place, you feel like a kid in a candy store with all these new cool things.

thank you guys for the advice im really amazed how welcoming this forums is! and again thank you for taking your time to help me

From one noob to another...start by subscribing to the "Bum Marketing Method" emails. You won't make a million dollars from it, but it gives you a great perspective on penetrating search results and keyword importance. I made my first affilate sales this week using a modified model of this program.

Also, if you are hoping to get free traffic from search, make sure you get a good domain name. I have found that keyword domains are almost instantly posted on google in the top 10 results for the search term. Obviously you won't snag creditcards.com, but you can dig deep enough in another niche to find a good keyword/domain match.

Finally, make sure you get a hosting company with cpanel. This makes it 10x easier to install things like wordpress. I use hostgator, but any reputable hosting service includes cpanel.

These are just my tips...there are countless more to be found within this forum from peple who actually make money.
