Put 10 of them up for sale. If people buy them all, then the demand is up. If they do not buy any, then the demand is down.

Seriously, though, you should determine the demand before you choose the product. That means, get to know your customers.

thanx for replying jryan21.........the demand is the and it is showing in searches.......what i want to know abt it is the trend........wheather it is going up or down......tried checkout google trends and search trends........but it isnt showing there coz of the low searches..........how do i determine wheather the trend is going upwards or downwards?

try looking at somethingt like Ebay pulse, or blog pulse or something to get an idea of demand too.
