I have a piece of content so good ready to post on new years day that there's a very high chance of it hitting the front page of a pretty big sub reddit.

I have zero experience doing this before though, the content is good but are there any ways I can increase the chance of success? Are getting the first 50-100 likes critical? Can you buy these?

Feel free to PM me if you know shit about reddit. Cheers brahs.

Just lay out what your actual objective is that you're trying to accomplish with it. Otherwise it will turn into a confusing mess for no reason.

Lay it out bruh.

So you asking me to buy LIKES for your Reddit post? :)

Just kidding.

You can get those from Fiverr I think.

What your story is about? Hopefully not another "end of the world story", like if you are posting it on NY's day it must be something like "we all are going to die in around 5 hours"?

Ok just kidding again.

Is your goal to drive traffic to your site or are you going to publish the whole story to reddit? Reddit is one of my favourite social media sites actually, it's pretty hardcore in compare with everything esle and it didn't get it's high popularity overnight, it has been getting popularity gradually over time, and it's still growing.

Your story, if you want to impress your audience, should be laid out is if you were talking to one of your best fiends, easy going - well suited for Reddit community :)

I'm esssentially trying to convert a legit fitness transformation into instagram followers. (and link juice)

I'm really just looking into any insight into factors that come into play...

Like I assume having a 5 year old account that's been actively posting in relevant subs for 5 years is much more likely to have submitted content gain traction compared to a brand new account stated yesterday. How much does that play into it, does that play into it?

Very little. It's all about who upvotes your content which is based almost exclusively on whether your content is the type of content that people in the subreddit you are posting to would want to upvote.

So my best bet is to just buy 100-200 votes from a legit subbed user network and if the content is good enough nature will take it's course?

Say you hit the front page... You can edit a post for up to 6 months.

Is Reddit so heavily moderated that adding a semi-releavnt link, a "check out my website" or "follow me on instagram" at the bottom of the post a really bad idea? A few months after you've hit the front page.

(I'm working with self posts (text posts))

I want that juice baby.
