Most of the time when you purchase blog comments they are no-follow backlinks...this means that the blog or site is telling Google NOT to crawl the backlink! Now, that isn't necessarily a bad thing because Google does still crawl them and SEO experts know that you need a mix of no-follow AND do-follow to rank well. However no-follow backlinks don't carry nearly as much authority as do-follow, but there is a problem...
