How can I test a few thousand email addresses?

Hi,

I have a few thousand email addresses of people I did business with a few years ago...


I'm wanting to test them out for dead addresses etc.
I would be using AWeber to send the actual emails...

...I read that iContact can do this..is that so?

Q1). Can I use something like SmartSerialMail software to do this?

Q2). Can I do it from my home ATT internet connection over a period of a few days?

Q3). Is there a way to extract email addresses from a Thunderbird "sent" mail folder? Edit: I found Email address crawler addon for TBird

Edit: Found a beta version of Email address Crawler that works in TBird 11
