How do you know you've been slapped?

I'm still learning the ropes around here. So please excuse me when I ask, how do you know you've been slapped by Google? Do they send you an email saying you can't do this or that? Do they just raise your min bid? What do they do and how do you know you've been slapped and why?

They don't tell you via email.

You know when you check your account and either all your minimum bids are at $5 - 10 and up, or your impressions are down to 0.
