How do you see EMDs in the future?

exactly. who the fuck cares about a medical site that has an article about treating herpies buried down. when i want to treat my herpies i want to go to www.howtotreatmyherpies.com because im not gonna get lost in a shitstorm of information about treating aids or ghonorria
clearly theyve made a commitment that their site contains information about the kw since it says so in the domain
hmmm, I'd personally click on webmd.com before clicking into a website like that, but that's just me. I rarely trust EMDs in the SERPs. I feel like 90% of them are marketers like me trying to bank.
EMDs still work, can't say about the future but there's nothing BAD in having an emd. I think they will continue to rank better for quite some time though the gap may narrow down.
Organic is getting tougher by the day. Google seems to have gone aggressive on some "The Best Spinner" style techniques. Looks like Google is recognizing best synonyms and ranking content accordingly. For example, if you optimize for "xxx advantages", google will also consider results for "xxx benefits" so you get much more competition there.
A lot of new problems like these are gonna appear in the coming times.
