Which software do you follow to keep track of your work. I usually maintain an excel sheet with my daily tasks written in and follow it. Sometimes when i miss writing in it, i miss doing those tasks completely. Of late, am missing out on at least one task everyday. Costing me a lot now.

I'm looking for a software, where in i can punch in the work i need to do and it pops me with a reminder in case its not done on time. Is their any such software?

What do you guys use to keep track of your daily tasks? Or your work orders? I deal with a lot of clients, and everyone expects their work to be finished on time? Is their any software which either free or paid available online that can help me in keeping track of my work?

I use Remember the Milk. You can set up tasks and tick them off when they are done.

You can also set it up so you get messaged when a task is due. It uses AIM or Skype or whatever IM you use.

Shoot there was an excellent blog with type of stuff on it. I'm pretty sure its either zenhabits or lifehacker. All kinds of reviews of programs that do this.

I couldn't work without:

Remember the milk for tasks
Basecamp for bigger projects (especially ones which involve collaborating
Tempo (Tempo - Time Tracking) for tracking how much time I spend on things

One day i'll write an enormous mashup and enter web2.0 productivity heaven.

I just starting using the Google Calendar and "remember the milk" is great! I'm very visual so I print out the tasks from that and have it close to the computer.

Thanks Jan, That's a brilliant app. I am tracking some stuff now. I am sure it will help me get more organized.

I found I would never go to the website to update anything. So, I just installed the free version of EssentialPIM for Windows...

EssentialPIM

...Looks basically like Outlook - which works for me, since I'm already used to that.

I just installed rescuetime. This is not so much a todo list tracking but more of a what the heck am I doing with my time tracking. Just playing with it - recommended by a friend.
