How Does Tracking202 Know When There Is a Conversion?

I'm about to install Tracking202 right now, but I don't understand exactly what the purpose of it is besides seeing how many people clicked my ad. Can't I see all of this info in whatever network I'm using?

If it can tracking my conversions and hide my keywords, etc. from the networks, can someone explain how they go about doing so?

You need to install the tracking pixel link on the merchants conversion page.

Or if your affiliate company has a post-back url system that can be used, or you can pass an id to the sub-id field and make it a bit easier to manually enter the conversion in once its made.

In your affiliate network you can see sub id of what has converted. Just enter that sub-id into "Update Subid" and voila. But if you don't want to do it manually you can set up a pixel. You will have to talk to your affiliate manager about it.
