Just wondering...cause i think i'm going to change to resellerzoom.com because dreamweaver doesnt cut it. is it worth it? for ppc arbitrage, will it actually factor into the visitors decision to stay the extra 5 secs or so?

i use resellerzoom also and it's pretty reliable. i'd recommend it.

(and a good host is very important for arbitrage and just in general. after all, if your sites go down, you can't make a sale)

heh, yeah, so true. but u recommend resellerzoom? my dreamweaver goes down once very 3 days or so for about a 20minute period and it doesnt seem to be too fast. like it can definitely be faster in loading.

so yall think it is worth the switch? it costs a tiny bit more per month because i signed up with dreamweaver with some deal...not the 777deal, but something pretty close. should i dish out and extra $5 a month for better reliability(i;m not even sure how much better)

I think you mean dreamhost not dreamweaver. I've been using dreamhost and haven't had too much of a problem with them, but I don't have much else to compare them to.

yeah dreamhost was no good for me either, tons of downtime.

I also switched to resellerzoom, it's pretty reliable
oh and if you do decide to go with resellerzoom, use my affiliate if you dont mind :)

I think hosting is important for ANY website... if it loads slow or is down you WONT make money PERIOD. (Slow - less money, down - no money)

I have servers from www.ServerMatrix.com and a nicer one from www.ThePlanet.com they are both the same datacenter and offer great support. So if you plan on rolling out a bunch of sites maybe a server down the road for you.

On the other hand I use a reseller account at HostGator for other sites... so far I have had no problem with them and their uptime and support is superb. For $25/month you get a good deal and good support/features.

Why do a lot of work and then have half your visitors leave before they even see you site?

Virtual hosting plans are cheap, and they work fine as long as your host isn't a piece of shit. Shop around, of all of the hosts I've used only 2 really sucked, and I dropped them.

I agree with Andrew.

If you're going to get a virtual host I'd recommend http://www.jaguarpc.com/ -- these guys know their shit, are decently priced and have some amazingly convenient and useful features.

Plus they have extremely helpful tech support. I became a friend with this guy from India that works for them and he actually helped me fix several scripts I was having trouble working with. He didn't charge me a cent.

Now I just use my company's dedicated server, but before that Jaguar PC was perfect for my situation because I didn't know that much about maintaining my own dedicated server.

I've got to agree with Todd. I use Hostgator and have had no problem with them and their support and uptime is brilliant. $25/month is a great deal with good support and features.

I have used hostgator also and aso. Asmallorange ( hereby refered to as ASO,lol) is awesome and they are cheap. I have never had any downtime with them, or issues with either, regardless of the number of subdomains and sql db's i have,, cough cough

I recommend www.hostmysite.com I had a VPS with them for about 6-7 months and it only went down 5-6 times for scheduled mantaince and thats it. I am very happy with them. Very nice guys and when you call you go right to an english speaking tech.

If you have a large number of sites I'd recommend a VPS. I had a server trhough servermatrix.com but they want too annoying to manage so a VPS is perfect.

I second the planet. They have amazing servers with no downtime. They have always done me right. I am telling you this to with out and affilate link as well because they are really legit. Also have had good experiences with hostgator as well.
