This question is way to broad. Depends on the niche, content, etc. You may also want t consider other forms of monetization that AdBrite.

Ya, you would have to get way more specific. I have a page getting 100 unique views a day that makes a lot more than another one of my sites getting 3-4000. The difference is my lower traffic site has extremely targeted traffic, and very high commission leads.

Yep, same here. Sometimes, lower traffic sites with highly targetted traffic is better. Especially when you compare it to some MySpace theming site.

I have a site which got 8 visitors last week and one affiliate-sale worth $147. Another is a babes site which gets a few thousands visitors a day and makes just a few bucks.

you're prolly better off testing an affiliate program with a few hundred people a day. youll certainly make more than a few pennies.

as stated in the other posts, it's all about targeted traffic and it really depends on what your affiliate product is and how good its conversions are A product with high conversion rates plus targeted traffic=lots of sales

That IS interesting - makes a lot of sense. It's quite fun being a newbie in some ways - lots to learn which feels like a good kinda challenge.
