Guys.... (and Turbo)

I had to reformat my drive. For my laptop screen resolution, I now only have 2 choices: 800x600 and 1024x768.... but I have a widescreen.

How can I add 1280x800 to the list of options to choose from, Windows XP?

(Tried googling it - can't find the answer)

Thanks in advance!

You need to add the driver for your monitor. Your laptop manufacturer should have posted drivers on their website; download the appropriate driver. Right click on My Computer, choose Properties, click the Hardware Tab, then choose Device Manager. Look under Monitor and it should say "Plug and Play Monitor." Right click on Plug and Play Monitor and choose Update Driver. Choose Install from a specific location, and point to where you saved the driver.

excellent thanks! Installed automatically off the manufactures official site.

aaaaaaaaah, much better now ;)
