How to combine web hosting with domain registration

Hi,

My previous webhosting experiences have had domain registration tied in with purchase of the hosting, however I'm now separating the two for the best deals.

Basically what I want to know is how to point my domain name (Registered with moniker.com) to my website which is hosted on hostgator.

The domain name looks like it's parked at the moment.. how do I turn that off?

Just to add,

I've tried changing the DNS nameservers on moniker, but it doesn't seem to affect it, and they keep reverting back for some reason after a period of time...

Actually... I've managed to fix it all up and worked out what was happening...
