I'm looking for advice on how to deal with obnoxious international redirects, where an offer for users in, say, Canada redirects to Webfetti or Smiley Central or some other bullshit for users in the US. This causes constant problems for me getting through FB approvals, and I'm sure many of you can relate.
Neverblue allows you to set an int'l redirect in their interface, and when that doesn't work, my AM there sets up a custom redirect for me lickety split because I do a decent amount of volume there. But now I'm trying some offers on other networks (EWA, "Epic" / AZN) where I don't have any "street cred" (which means my AMs are unresponsive / inept) and where there's no option to self-serve in the UI like with NB. I therefore have to resort to link-switching with Prosper. I KNOW I can use Prosper to get around this, but it's suboptimal for several reasons, and I don't like having to redirect through Prosper just so I can get my ads approved.
Does anyone have a "secret trick" for dealing with this?
And as an aside, can someone please explain to me why so many networks / advertisers set up their offers this way? It's definitely one of my biggest pet peeves as an affiliate.
