In my introduction thread I mentioned that I make $800 a day with a myspace resource site. This revenue is from CPA ads, CPM ads, and adsense. So far the site is doing well and gets tons of traffic and lots of revenue.

So how do you go about making a lot of money online as I am?

First you need a website. And you need traffic and some sort of an ad/revenue service (adsense, valueclick, copeac for example). Content is also imporant.

Create a website by registering a domain or you can use blogger or wordpress. Get hosting and change the nameservers if needed. Blogger and wordpress are free while a domain plus hosting usually costs $10 a month. Godaddy has domains and yahoo has good hosting packages.

For traffic, you need visitors who come to your site and click ads or fill out forms. Thats where the revenue comes from. Without traffic you can't make money. To get traffic try exchanging link and social bookmarking. Submit your story to redit and digg. Post your website in the myspace forums or on digitalpoint. Consider demoz as well. Get a facebook or a myspace or youtube account and try to get traffic that way. Maybe create a blog and blog about your site. Put your website in the newspaper or magazine. Try radio or tshirt or sticker advertising.

For revenue, sign up for adsense and copeac or maxbounty. Those are the easist to get into. Valueclick and azoogle are much harder to get approved so don't worry about those. Then copy paste your adsense code into your website. Make the ads blend in your background and remove the borders. They key is to integrate the ads well.

With the CPA offers put up a link like this FREE IPOD CLICK HERE and it links to the form. Pretty simple.

You also need content. Software can do that for you or you can pay someone to create it. PHP can scrape content as well. Lots of options here.

Thats all you need to create a profitable, money making website. Pretty simple, all you need to do is work hard and you can make money online.

So how do you really make money? Can you post some screen shots? If you show me yours I'll shows you mine. So what do say Gamma???? People tell me my screen shot is huge but my balls block the screen, so my balls are much larger.

Thats all the advice you need to make money

I visited your blog and you would have a higher adsense CTR if you blended your ads better. The ads should match your background and have no border. I also recommend using three ads blocks per page. Put a large square in the top, one in the midder , and a 120x600 one on the side.

So basically... make a website, create content, get traffic, and monetize it?

Thank you for this very insightful tutorial you dumbass

all your advice says is to make a website and put some ads on it. this is online marketing 101. If I can't find that information on sitepoint then its a shittier place to go than i expected. if someone doesn't know the basic ass shit outlined in your post than all hope is lost.

Well i'm sorry. (I don't know what else to say) :xomunch:

dude. +rep me for this advice.

dont post very general tutorial threads here. its pretty assumed that if you read you know what your doing. simple threads like 'setup blogger and ads' gets people riled up around here.

shit...that's where i was going wrong, build website, make money...dang. I'm going to get straight on to this ASAP.

That picture...where did you find it? :)
I ask because that pic came from a series of pics (of the same guy) I came across one time when me and my wife were having fun surfing some weird-ass fetish site. I saved that pic to my harddrive (without the text you have on it) as I thought it was hilarious.

Anyway, back on topic: Betagamma: Your intentions were good, but the advice is way too generic and "101" for 99.9% of the users on WF. Even most users on Sitepoint and 50% of users on WarriorForum will find it elementary.

But I'm all for sharing your insight with others, so if you wanna shed some more details on your site such as how much you put into SEO, how much of the traffic is natural, what sort of link-building (if any) you have done, what inspired you to start it, etc. - we're all ears.

Do I want to know what site you were surfing? Do I even want to know WHY you AND your wife were surfing it?

Some things are better left unsaid, man.

I'm hoping this is just someone with the driest sense of humor ever and he's having a good laugh at his own thread.

Otherwise....... "wow".
