Many people use Pen Names and Pseudonym online to promote niche sites or affiliate products. But how do you keep all the personas totally separate and compartmentalize the niche sites from the other blogs where you would like to “brand” your name.

Adsense: According to Google ToS, you can only have one account. But based on the Adsense number from a Publisher you can trace all the website from the same person. What do you do?

Analytics: Same for Analytics, you can also trace all the website using the same Google Analytics number. Do you use separate accounts?

Affiliates: How do you keep separate the affiliate products that you promote with your Real Identity and the ones with the Pen Names?

Hosting: Do you host all of your websites, niche sites with Pen Names and blogs with real identity in the same account?

Email lists: You are supposed to use your real identity when sending an email to a list, even if it’s a niche site. What do you do?

Are you using a company name so that you are not associated with products, etc.?

Thanks for your replies!

For Adsense and Analytics you'd have to piss someone off to sabatoge your whole empire of micro niche sites to want to ruin you for 2 bucks a day or whatever. If you had a huge site that was very profitable I can't imagine Google just banning you for clickbombing. They'd probably investigate and ban ip's from Adsense or something. I am sure they have way of protecting their clients, Adsense and Adwords wise.

It's not something I'm worried about. If you don't have 1000 sites scraping in pennies per, then you should be fine. You don't need to spread across Adsense accounts if you aren't being shady.

Thanks Hobbster, I'm actually not sure what I'm worried about.

Many people suggested on various forums to use a different Pen Name for each of the niche websites and I thought it would be useful. However there are 2 websites more important to me where I'd like to use my real identity therefore, I would have liked to have two completely separate identities in order to compartmentalize what is more important (with my real ID) with the rest (Pen Names).

If you want to have multiple adsense accounts, set up a company and then get an adsense account through the company name.

In all honesty, this type of shit isn't something you need to worry about until you are making bank UNLESS you are mixing dodgy shit and legit stuff in which case seperate it as much as you can.
