is there an affiliate program for safari? I think there is a FF affil program that pays a buck for every install.. i think through google. I don't know if safari does the same.

Nope, there is no safari recommendation on google, probably going to add the FireFox one.

Gonna go with a blog.

Possible categories:

Critique/help?

Damn, every time I ask something this forum goes dead. :D

Hello....hello.. is this thing working?

Maybe you could write about the pros and cons of switching over from IE?

Yes, will do that.

Nice avatar, BTW.

Is that you?

So right now I have this plan for monetizing:

- Adsense
- Google Pack
- Amazon books on Safari
- copeac iPhone offer

Anyone got something else?

It probaby goes dead because this is a question that you should be able to answer on your own. Especially after being here for 1 year, having such a high rep and having over 1000 posts. From what I've seen a few members would at least like to see that you have invested more time into solving your own problem before asking such a wide open question...maybe list a few examples and how you think you can make money from them.

Personally i think the blog idea could work, but add a comparison too
1. Safari is better than IE because...
2. Safari is better than FF because...
3. Safari si better than Opera because...

Then in addition to that you may be able to add something about why Safari is best for iTunes and throw up some iTunes links and maybe while you're at it do something like while Safari is great on a windows machine it's even better on an Apple MacBook Pro / G5 Tower etc... then highlight whatever Apple products you have affiliates for (mini review or something) and let it roll. I'm thinking you might get high quality and possible links becauswe of the major Apple content. Be sure to use some sort of URL shortener / mask and maybe keep AdSense off or similar off while you do your link building...I hope that helps....then after you do your link building and ger some PR but the Azoogle/sense/yhoo back up

Oh I see you answered maybe if you're going to do an iPhone offer highlight how the iPhone has Safari. Wish you the best

Hi Lee.

You are sure right when you say I should be able to solve this on my own.
What else to say? I am on it.

Edit:
I said quite a few times that I am not the best at the marketing side of this, so I was looking for pointers. The content of the site is quite clear, actually.

If you're promoting firefox with the site I wouldn't just slap it around randomly (not that I think you would). I'd put it on an "other options" page and give it a good review. Mention that you can have IE, FF, and Safari installed at the same time and that they each have things they excell at.

You can also make an article on how it's now easy for developers to do their testing in safari on windows etc.. Development related offers, etc.

Is there amazon books on safari? if so, i think that would be the best bet. again, i agree with wes, and target web developers, because i don't really see why an average person would download safari. I am only going to download it to test out my sites etc.
