Hello,

I have found an company that has an affiliate program. This company is known all over the U.S and is constantly advertised on television. I learned that they allow us to bid on their company name and trademarks as long as we do not surpass their bid.

I will be setting up a landing page so I could direct adword traffic to my landing page, then to them. But, I have never really worked on bidding on trademarks; so I have no idea how visitors react.

I am wondering if anyone here can provide guidance in relation of how I could optimize such traffic into profit.

Thank you greatly.

P.S - The only trademarked bidding I've done before was bidding on "GoDaddy". Made a good sum of money before they sent me a letter to stop biddng on their trademarks.

Interesting: Notice how smaller publishers are like "Go ahead, buy as many .com's and promote however - just make us money" - and the big guys are like "Yeah, you can sell my ish, just don't compete with me here, and here, and there - and only make me money with these 10 commandments'... many companies won't mind in the niche sectors obviously - so perhaps you found a little gold mine mate :)

What can really be said - grab some domains, some landers, some listbuilders, and diversify a great set of campaigns to capitalize on your findings. Perhaps make sure the demand and the price of bids is worth it, even start up some bum campaigns to prove the product lines convert in the first place...

Best of luck with it whatever you do, hopefully it's a Trademark with good products/commission behind it.

NC.

If anyone is interested in advertising with the company name- PM me for more details.
I happen to know one that doesn't mind if you do that. :) ( they are more like: show me the moneyz! )
