How to tell Directory Sumissions are legit?

I just bought 3000 directory submissions from a WF independent seller, so far I've received about 100 email confirmations stating my listing is now live.

It seems that all these email confirmations look the same. The directories have all a similar look, and the listings are all the same in each directory.

Here are some links to the directories I've been submitted to and approved for:

Large Internet Directory - Michelem.net
XYZ... - Big Internet Site Directory - SC4M.com
XYZ... - Great Resource Website Directory - AFCdirectory.com

When I do a search for my url, it its confirmed that I'm listed.

However, my concern is:

-If each directory is actually different or just a mirror of the same site
-People actually go to these directories to find my site?
-If this is building backlinks?
-If this will help me toward SEO and rank my site higher in google search

I just wanna know if I'm getting my monies worth and that I'm not getting bogus email confirmations that I'm getting listed in directories.

This is my first purchase ever to attempt IM and promoting my site for more hits.

Help from the WF community would be of great help.

A lot of people own a multitude of directories. I remember Eli owning something like 180 of them. They probably are just owned by the same person, hence the same format.

Anybody know what script they are running to create those directory sites?
Also, how do you go about getting one of those sites included with the directory softwares that do the autosubmissions?

Thanks for the input Jeffrey.

I also notice the guy doing directory submissions for me is submitting over 200 a day. This has me concerned that it may throw up a red flag with google search. This has me a little freaked out, my website is only 6 months old and is my first project.

I get the email confirmations, and I only confirm 50 submissions a day, in hopes my submissions won't look like black hat tactics are being used.

Input greatly appreciated fellas.
