.htaccess to cloak links

I've been using .htaccess to cloak links, but the clicks aren't showing up. Any way to get them to show up while cloaked?

They should show up if you links are correct because all you are doing it taking

website.com -> website.com/abc (your htaccess link) -> affiliatelink (the link it is redirecting to)

It is just redirecting.
