This is actually good news.
For affiliate marketing to grow we need to spot BS scams. We fucked up a free trial sales model that could of been awesome.
It's just too easy for some random broke ass advertiser to start up a rebill scam that's $0.10 EPC higher than the other. Since this is such a competitive space, affiliates have no choice but to gobble it up.
Back on topic though I don't think mass banning will help here. Networks need to help affiliates transition into this change You can't just tell thousands of affiliates to piss off (eventhough some of the bigger offenders should) and expect them accept it and come back.
Only surprised it took this long. Now only the ad networks need to follow this and AM will have bright future.
