Hey Everyone,

New to the site, been reading some blogs on the forum, and getting situated.

So, I guess for a noob in affiliate marketing, anybody can tell me where to start off first?

Do I start with ppc, search, or creating a website and putting banners there? I just want to get a starting point, if someone could send me to right direction?

I've read the beginners ppc on adwords from google, quite interesting but it seems saturated ? Anyways if you guys can, LMK.

There has always got to be a first post.

I'm new to this forum but have been around IM for a while with my own niche products but it was time to come to the real party now that is all put to bed and running nicely.

My first take on getting started was my research. I am looking at CPA and there is a ton but it has proven worthwhile to do some decent research first before wasting any money.

I am running PPC but through to my own landing page and then onto the offer but I am moving at a pretty rapid rate and throwing some time into it.

That's my experience, hope it helps a bit.

Thanks man, so PPC is the way to start Im guessing? Whats a good amount to start investing into affiliate marketing? I mean getting the right CPA campaigns is always ideal, but which ones seem to convert the best? Is it insurance, health products, short submits, education, or free trial stuff?

I think facebook is a great place for beginners to start. It's a very easy system, and great to learn about targeting demographics, and figuring out which campaigns convert. Just don't expect to get rich doing it. With that knowledge you can switch over to adwords and start competing with the big players.

Check the sig for a network and some more help.

Hey Thanks Vasago, I was reading it over quite interesting. But.. how much is a good amount to start off on to get things going I suppose? $300 dollars for ppc stuff? Just want to make sure I got enough funds to start making money like everyone else on this forum.

I would spend $30 in Yahoo ppc and get $100 free credit from Yahoo. Then take the money you earn and reinvest back into it. Good Luck!

Thanks aniston! For the tips, any idea of what type of campaigns are HOT out there and converting? And would it be wise to take on 3-4 dollar CPA offers for PPC, or is it to my best interest to actually go for the $10+ ones?

Freebies are always good to start with. They pay out low but have higher conversions.

Hi

I have been a lurker for a while. I thought I would jump in and say hello and start posting. Thanks for the useful info too.

I'm a newb at this affiliate marketing stuff, but I see people making great success so I best start now and contribute back what I get out of it. Thumbs up to you all. I'll be sure to be a contribute sooner than you think.
