If anyone does quality landing pages and has the time to do one up for me (I'll pay of course) then please read this thread and if you want the job send me a PM with your quote and preferably a couple links of your previous work.

So lets begin....

Basically I want the design to be really simple, clean, and elegant, but informative with a call to action in the upper and lower halfs of the page.

A good example of the call to actions, simplicity, and elegant work is Project management, collaboration, and task software: Basecamp

I like that landing page because it has a call to action both above and below the fold, it has room at the top for navigation links, and it has further room down below for some text to educate you about the product a bit more.

I'm not looking for anything flashy, the proper use of whitespace is good, also here is what I'm going to be using for the sites blog.....http://longtailhq.com/blog/

As you can see its very simplistic (Its not 100% done yet but the overall design concept is, I just need to make the main image a smaller size and tweak a couple more things for the blog portion of the site).

The site is going to be used to host my new and free to use keyword research tool that I've been developing and the call to action I'm looking for on the landing page is for the user to enter in there email address and maybe there first name to use the tool.

Also the little 2 little tiger images for the blog header is going to be my main logo, well 1 of the tigers not both, they are the tools logo and the tool itself is going to be called "Longtail".

Here are a few more links of landing pages which I really like

Google (Its simple, elegant, and the user knows exactly what to do).

Project management, collaboration, and task software: Basecamp (Its simple, elegant, there is a call to action above and below the fold, they have room for more detailed information, and room for product screenshots).

Lyris HQ (Its simple, clean, and elegant, it shows lots of information, but it lacks product screenshots, and the call to action on this page is way too long)

Compete Pro Search Analytics ( This page is clean, elegant, simple, informative, has the right call to actions, has a screenshot of the product but could use a few more, and it has a nice top navigation)

Basically the landing page design will be used on the main page and the overall flow of this design will carry onto other pages as well.

I will provide you with a very large image of the tiger logo, and a PSD file of the type of text I was using on the blog header, it was basically just the font "Gill Sans Ultra Bold Condensed" because I like that particular web 2.0sih type of text.

Any and all additional details will be given upon request, if you are interested in doing this work for me, please send me a PM with your quote and preferably a few links of your previous work you've done.

I will be contacting a few designers on my own but figured I would post an open thread as well just in case I have a hard time finding one.
