This isn't a campaign to gain a mass amount of money by affiliate programs.
I know it’s difficult to start a forum, but I believe I have the knowledge.

This is my first forum, I will be creating, by using Vbulletin

Plan of action

Traffic

Directories, mainly manual submission
Produce as many backlinks to every warez related site, hopefully this will increase the website page rank over time
Maybe write an article and submit it to as many article directories as I know of like ezine articles.
Upload a video on YouTube, not based on warez, and incorporate the websites address in the video.
Any other suggestions in this department will be helpful.
Index website in main search engines i.e. Microsoft live, yahoo, Google

The domain name will be a high keyword that is used in search engines.
Any suggestions on domain name will be appreciated.

Content
Get links from other warez sites and forums (Rapidshare, megauploads direct links, etc.....)
This needs to be constant, and I will encourage/promote, everyone to do this as they will be contributing to the community, if this is done successfully i believe the forum will become large quicker

Overall
Have ten+ moderators, this may increase as the forum become larger.
Once i have between 1,000-5,000 members I will most likely incorporate an affiliate programs.

These are a few warez forums i use, and i will be contrasting mine to them.
warez bb
warez ws
forumw
However I have realised that none of these have incorporated affliate programs, any reason for this.

Any suggestions/valuable information/flaws will be most appreciated

I'm wondering why you'd start a warez forum when there are so many out there already?
But hey, it's your money getting wasted on it...

And they inevitably get filled with lamers *coughwarezbbcough*

As for not putting an aff program on them, I get the feeling is that the money they generate from advertising could be linked to just generally making money from the forum, which specifically exists to pirate software.
It basically compounds a crime to actively profit from it, and if it came to lawyers-out, their lawyers would argue that the money from the aff program wouldn't exist without your piracy of their content, therefore you're directly profiting from the piracy of their software, as opposed to just unlawfully redistributing it.

The other reason I can think of is what can you advertise to them?
P2P's out. As is anything gaming related.
Most pirates build their own computers, so a computer sales site is out... Peripherals maybe?
Dating? Nah, they'll just download more Pr0nz0r. Hands make fewer demands on gaming time than a real partner.

This will give you close to zero traffic. And, I am not sure how many directories out there gonna approve your warez listing.

I would had gone for something brandable here.

Crack hard to available apps, and make your domain as the password of the archives and post in all active warez forums. Taking a brandable domain will help in this tactic.

Why do u think that affiliate programs will convert well on warez forums ?

90% of the free directories, even with manual submission are very less likely to approve links to warez sites.

The next big pain is finding good offshore hosting, then get ready for DDOS attacls from other forums, forum security and moderation..

Just my 2 cents..

thanks for the infomation

Not going to spend a penny, maybe on the domain thats about it, i found a reliable offshore free web hosting company which allows warez linking and adult content. But the content can't be uploaded to their server.

The forum wasn't meant to make money so......., it was just an idea.

Warez forums are against the vBulletin license agreement, but I guess people running warez forums probably don't care much about license agreements.

Yh, not going to have a valid license agreement

then get ready for DDOS attacls from other forums, forum security and moderation..

Im not exactly a hacker, so.... what ways would be best to protect from this and any other attacks.

thanks again:)

Dude, get a better idea.

If you were into warez, this would not be a problem. You want to make a popular forum in ANY niche. Get popular on the popular forums. Become the big swinging dick and you can write your own ticket.

For warez that means being the guy with the hot appz first, a fire FTP and some relay channel hook up and a lot of time. Plus the domain password thing helps too.

You're better off starting a rap forum then dropping an app section in there.
