Two of my sites registered with 7search have gotten no clicks, even though it says it does get a decent amount of search volume (at least through their affiliates). Maybe my bids just are not high enough.
I'm just now getting into all of this. I read chris' arb thread and decided to jump in. I've been trying to piece together bits of info from all over. I used the Google KeywordTool searching big sites to find high CPC keywords with $50 max. I found a topic that had a CPC of $15-$20 with lots of google competition, but had either 0 or very low bids on 7search. There were about 6k searches a month on 7search.
As a very, very general rule of thumb, I would say AdSense click prices are in the neighborhood of 30% of what you see in the Overture bid tool. Google then keeps 40% as commission.
In short, find niches/keywords that have $3+ bids in the bid tool.
So I searched the overture bid tool. Bids are topping out at $2.50. So I take 30% of that and I come to $1.75 and google take 40%, and it comes to 1.05. Not a bad return if it works, but I was expecting the $15-$20 range.
Now I don't know what to expect. Anyone have any idea?
If you are getting $1.00 clicks you will be doing good. I figure that I am going to average out around $.50/click. But the difference between $.06 and $.50 is huge. It is more about the volume.
