I'm confused about incentivized leads. Lets say I found a lead that I think my members will benefit from. Can I write a blog post about it, recommending the product and posting the affiliate link and that would be considered incentivized? Or would incentivized leads be like, "I'll give you $5 to full-fill this lead!"?

Incentivized would be giving them some kind of compensation (e.g. money) for fulfilling a lead. This is the idea behind sites like the gratis network (freeipods, etc).

Hi James,

We consider an offer incentivized when a publisher offers cash, points, etc. upon a lead or conversion. "Recommending" an offer is not a form of incentivization as far as I know. You might also want to double check with your affiliate manager that the advertiser approves blog promotions.

Thanks Wendy. The offer accepts Incentivized, Web, Text Link and Search Traffic, so it should be okay for me to use a blog as that is a form of Web promotion.
